Price: $499.00 Date: January 21st, 2024 to February 18th, 2024 Time: 8:00 am PST / 11:00 am EST As part of The Department Head Blueprint, this course is for hairstylists or makeup artists who want to become a great Department Head in the Film and TV Industry. Camille has gathered all the most crucial aspects of her work as a blockbuster film department head. Her years of experience have led to developing unique organizational skills that only she can teach you. She will share her insights and special skills with an emphasis on integrity and excellence. Learn everything you need to know for a career in the entertainment industry from Oscar-nominated Camille Friend, one of the most respected and sought-after hairstylists. Our five-unit program will take place over the course of five weeks via an online pre-recorded video instructional course taught by Camille Friend. Each week, starting on January 21st, 2024, a new video will be available on Sunday mornings at 8:00 am PST / 11:00 am EST. The following Wednesday (time TBD) there will be an optional live Zoom with Camille offered to go over any questions and homework for that week's subject matter. All five online courses will be available to watch for three months after the last video is made available. Week 1 - January 21, 2024: Responsibilities, Interviews, and Deal Memos Week 2 - January 28, 2024: Research, Production Bible, Budgeting, Manpower, and Camera Tests  Week 3 - February 4, 2024: Continuity Breakdown, Script Breakdowns, Designing Character Looks, and Consulting With Actors Week 4 - February 11, 2024: Wig Design, How to Custom Build a Wig, Stunt Wigs, and Wig/Facial Hair Rentals  Week 5 - February 18, 2024: Hiring Practices, What to Look For in Hiring, and Positions in the Department Each week will have required homework with pdf documents available for download.
