CAMILLE FRIEND
With over 20 years in the entertainment industry and credits spanning Black Panther, Tenet, Django Unchained, and The Little Mermaid — among many others — Camille Friend is one of Hollywood's most sought-after hair department heads. Academy Award–nominated and a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, she now brings that same excellence to Hair Scholars, sharing her expertise with the next generation of industry professionals.
HER STORY
From the Set to the Classroom.
With over 20 years in the entertainment industry, Camille Friend has built a career that most stylists only dream about. Her resume reads like a Hollywood highlight reel — blockbusters, prestige films, and some of the most technically demanding productions in cinema history.
But in 2015, she noticed something: the industry was full of talented stylists who lacked the specialized skills — and the insider knowledge — needed to truly thrive on set. So she created Hair Scholars to close that gap.
Today, Camille brings the same rigor and excellence she applies to every film set into every class she teaches.

A Historic Moment.
